Pisces- Living In Multiple Realities

For Piscean People, life is experienced on many different levels of consciousness, where they slip in between the space of tangible reality and pure, adaptable energy. This, paired with their often receptive nature, means that they can struggle to find a definite direction in life. They admire the direction of those around them, sometimes mistakenly believing the facade of full competence that those around them display, maybe even causing them to choose the path of another as their own. They can enter situations with an attitude of “well, it worked out for them, so it shall also for me” not knowing that they have a destiny and life path all of their own. They are often accused of escapism, getting caught up in sometimes dangerous behaviors or the latest wave of religion, but they sail such changeable seas even this cannot satisfy them forever. Their porous nature creates a personality that experiences much of the world through those near them, yet sometimes find that they, themselves can be the most baffling person around.

Drawing Soane | Eu Jin Lim | Socks Studio

Young architect Eu Jin Lim chose the house John Soane built for himself in Lincoln’s Inn Fields in London as the setting of a short comic. The drawing is an experiment on the ability of the comic medium to narrate architecture in comparison to more conventional orthographic drawings.  The house, fragmented to create an atlas of multiple vignettes, was chosen “for its complexity, and rich story-telling nature behind each rooms in the building.”
